Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of harrygs.com (the "Site") and your purchase of products from HarryG Security, a brand of Retail Security Group, Inc. ("RSG", "we", "us"), 6720 E Rogers Cir, Boca Raton, FL 33487. By placing an order or using the Site you agree to these Terms.

Products, pricing, and product conditions

We sell electronic article surveillance (EAS) equipment and supplies, including new and refurbished items. Each product page states whether an item is new or refurbished; refurbished equipment has been inspected and tested before sale. Compatibility references to third party systems (for example Sensormatic® or Checkpoint®) describe operating frequency compatibility only; those trademarks belong to their respective owners, and no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

We work to keep prices, descriptions, and availability accurate, but errors happen. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders where information was inaccurate at the time of order, including after an order is submitted. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to purchase; we may accept or decline it at our discretion (for example, for suspected fraud, or errors in pricing or stock). Payment is due at the time of order through the payment methods offered at checkout. We may require additional verification before accepting an order.

Shipping and risk of loss

Shipping terms, carriers, and timing are described in our Shipping Policy. Detection systems and pedestals may ship freight; please inspect freight deliveries and note any damage with the carrier at the time of delivery. Title and risk of loss pass to you on our delivery of the goods to the carrier.

Installation and site requirements

All detection systems require dedicated electrical service installed to specification before installation: a dedicated 120 VAC circuit (3 wire, grounded, shielded, 24 hour unswitched power, with less than 0.5 VAC between neutral and ground), and, for shared power dual pedestal configurations, 3/4" metal conduit with pull string. The specific requirements for each system are stated on its product page. If dedicated electric is not installed to the proper specifications, the system warranty is void. Detachers and deactivators do not require dedicated electric. For packages that include installation, the site must be ready per these requirements before the scheduled installation date; return visits caused by an unready site may incur additional charges.

Returns and warranty

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy. Except as expressly stated on a product page or in writing, products are provided with the manufacturer's or refurbisher's warranty only, and all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RSG is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost inventory, or losses from theft, arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site or any product. EAS equipment is a theft deterrent and does not guarantee prevention of loss. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Site use and intellectual property

Site content (text, images, logos) belongs to RSG or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your purchase will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
